About the Studio
Soulshine Studio is the independent digital studio founded by Charmaine Thomas. It creates and stewards a growing collection of original apps, platforms, and digital experiences, including Soulshine Wellness — each designed to help people slow down, get organized, and live with greater intention.

Every Soulshine creation begins as a question, a sketch, and a desire to make ordinary life feel a little more supported.
What Soulshine Studio Makes
The studio's collection includes tools, platforms, journals, and companions for daily rituals, travel, gardening, family connection, songwriting, home life, and small creative businesses. Each project is built with the same editorial care — clean design, honest language, and a genuine point of view.
Whether you're steeping a cup of tea, tending a garden, or planning a trip, the experience is meant to feel calm, purposeful, and human.
Why It Exists
"I wanted technology to feel calmer, more human, and more useful — not another source of noise."
Rather than chasing engagement or endless notifications, every tool, platform, and experience in the Soulshine collection is built around one idea: technology should support a meaningful life, not compete with it.
How Each App Begins
Every app starts with something we can't stop thinking about.
We look for the everyday moment worth designing around.
We shape the idea into something calm, not demanding.
We build, refine, and ship it with editorial attention.
What We Believe
Calm over noise
Usefulness over novelty
Care over speed
Founder Note
I'm building Soulshine Studio one app at a time — except when it's two or three at a time, because apparently my brain did not get the "one thing at a time" memo.
Ideas usually find me late at night, on an early morning walk, in the garden, on a 16-hour flight to Japan, or while I'm supposed to be doing something completely unrelated. If an idea won't leave me alone, I get locked in: ideating, writing, prompting, testing, tweaking, and meticulously guiding the build with the help of AI tools and builders — until it becomes something useful, beautiful, and real.
And honestly? I'm still amazed by what technology can do. I used to make websites by hand, in code, back in the day, so being able to bring these ideas to life this way still feels a little wild.
The tools help me move faster and create the kinds of projects I used to only dream about building. But the ideas, the features, the care, the lived experiences I'm trying to support, and the little spark that starts each project? That part is mine.
I'm not trying to build the next big thing. I'm trying to make cool, honest digital tools that help ordinary life feel a little more supported.
